These facilities often come with a cost in the form of higher purchase prices or increased HOA dues. For those on a budget, consider a community that is not closed. 5. If you're a pet lover, check the CC & R before you write your purchase offer. Many complexes have rules about the type of pets allowed as well as limitations on weight and size of animals like dogs. 6. Scottsdale condos and town homes offer a wide selection of services. It is not uncommon these days to not only complexes have pools and spas, but shopping centers, fitness centers tennis courts, concierge services, movie theaters, bike rentals, video game rooms, billiard rooms and much more. Make sure your Realtor is the complex that best suits your needs and lifestyle. 7. Always have a professional inspection done before the end of the inspection period. This will not only give you peace of mind regarding your investment, but also gives an opportunity for the seller to repair any defective product before the close of escrow. Furthermore, it is always a good idea to check that the inspector is ASHI designation.
